GOD, WHAT A SHOW. this is my fourth or fifth rewatch and every time something new sticks out to me. also, everyone needs to be talking way more about sherilynn fen’s utter slayage in the last 5 or so episodes of S2… the styling and costuming department needed a crazy bonus for her hair alone
watched season 3 for the first time last year and WHAT! might be the most profound piece of tv i’ve ever seen. the last two episodes were so strangely devastating
i watched it live in 2017 when i didn’t have a frontal lobe so i did not like it. next week i WILL be giving it a second try and i WILL be getting back to you

update: yes, the return IS the most profound piece of tv I have ever seen. episode 8 :") Lynch and Frost, my anti-war kings!!!!
episode 8 is so insane. what a ride! the slow zoom in on the nuke going off with the strings is maybe the most disconcerting shot in the series imo
that score is one of the best and most haunting I have ever heard. grief and terror personified. they ate it.
